How we write, review, and label evidence.
Trust is not decoration. It is the standard every page must meet before it reaches you. The checklist below is the same one our editors apply — line by line — to every article in Holistic Health AI.
The editorial checklist
No page ships unless every box below is checked.
Helpful
Every article must give the reader something they can use in their real life today.
Accurate
Claims are cross-checked against current peer-reviewed literature and major clinical guidelines.
Balanced
We separate what is strongly supported from what is emerging or still uncertain — never overstating confidence.
Easy to understand
Written in plain language. Medical terms are explained the first time they appear.
Practical
Each guide includes daily habits, realistic weekly rhythms, and a single small next step.
Beautiful
Long pages use short paragraphs, headings, callouts, and pull quotes — never walls of text.
Connected
Every guide links back to its cornerstone, forward to related practices, and outward to Hakim.
Reviewed
Reviewed by the HolisticHealthAI editorial team and updated as the evidence changes.
Evidence clearly labelled
Strong · Moderate · Emerging · Traditional — every claim carries its confidence level.
Companion-ready
Structured so Hakim can weave the guide into a personal, continuing conversation.
How we label evidence
Every claim in a HolisticHealthAI guide carries one of four honesty labels. If a claim cannot honestly carry one of these labels, it does not appear on the page.
- Strong
- Consistent findings across multiple high-quality studies or major clinical guidelines.
- Moderate
- Supported by good-quality studies, but with some open questions or mixed results.
- Emerging
- Promising early evidence — often small studies or a young field. Handle with humility.
- Traditional
- Knowledge held across generations of practice, often not fully tested by modern science.
The final test
Before publishing anything, our editors ask one question:
“If my own parents were reading this, would I feel completely comfortable recommending it to them?”
If the answer is anything less than yes, the article goes back for another pass.
Education, not medical care
Everything on Holistic Health AI is educational. It is not a substitute for individualised medical care. For persistent symptoms, sudden changes, medication interactions, pregnancy, or a serious medical condition, please involve a qualified clinician who knows your history.
